"ALMOST HERE - for safe access to refugee protection" is an initiative that gives a direct insight through the tool of virtual reality into the numerous reasons for fleeing countries of origin with military and political conflict to people who have chosen to change their destinies and find a better life for them and their families. The video we are sharing with you reflects the innovative VR event held on 30 September 2023 in Sofia, Bulgaria, through which participants met refugees from different countries, heard their stories, and experienced with them some of their hardships on the path to salvation and hope in Europe.

"ALMOST HERE - for safe access to refugee protection" is part of the project "Effective legal aid for refugees and migrants in Bulgaria - continuation", implemented under the Second Call for Strategic Projects of the Active Citizens Fund Bulgaria (ACF) under the EEA FM 2014 - 2021 by the Center for Legal Aid - Voice in Bulgaria (CLA), Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR and Mission Wings Foundation (MW). The special VR event was realized in partnership with the experts from LES2LENS.
